Happy Holidays

Time flies. My previous post with  2013 new year banner is still on the front page and I’m writing about 2014 already.

It has been a year with sadness, disappointment and sorrowful moments I have ever experienced in my life. But, 2013 has also been a year with hope, achievements and great acquaintances.

I’d like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas! And happy holidays.

Maître de Conférences, ENSIM, Université du Maine

A new life as Associate Professor, aka MCF or Maître de Conférences, at the University of Maine.

In short, I’m teaching at ENSIM, (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs du Mans) and doing my research at LIUM (Laboratoire d’Informatique de l’Université du Maine).

Let’s not talk about the lectures that I have to prepare and the administrative responsibilities I’ll be having throughout my first year as MCF in this post. However, just to let you know, so far so good, I’m enjoying this new life and I couldn’t be happier to have such great colleagues at both ENSIM and LIUM. It has been super fun working with them. Not to mention about the warm welcome I had received on my arrival… and up until now.

Bonne rentrée à toutes et à tous :)

Leaving OPTinnove… something good is happening

No matter how much I enjoy working for OPTinnove for the last seven months, I still feel that something is missing. Enthusiasm! Being in a ‘very’ good situation financially, is not always what I want, but fostering my motivation and appealing to my conviction is actually what matters to me the most.

Leaving OPTinnove is not a hard decision. I have something better up my sleeve :) something that makes me a happy man, knowing that when I wake up in the morning, all I want is to be at my workplace and do what I could do best. What is it? Drop by when your vacation is over.

Have a wonderful weekend!
